Winter season (1st September – 30th April): 10.00-18.00
Summer season (1st May– 31st August): 09.00 – 19.00

We are open all year, except 24. and 25. December and 17. May.

How to get here:

Take a walk:
It takes15-20 minutes to walk from Bergen city center to Bergen Aquarium.

By bus:
Take bus 11 from Bergen city center. In the summer you can also take the bus "CitySightseeing Bergen". It goes from the Tourist information to Bergen Aquarium every day from 09.00 - 16.00 in the period 2 May - 15 September.

By boat:
“M/F Beffen” goes from Bryggen in Bergen city center to Nykirken near Bergen Aquarium. Monday to Friday (all year around) from 07.30 to 16.00, Saturdays (May to August) from 11.00 – 16.00.  “M/F Vågen” goes from the Fish market in Bergen city center to Tollbodkaien near Bergen Aquarium from 21 May – 1 September from 10.00 to 18.00.

By car:
There is a small parking garage near Bergen Aquarium. In the summertime this is often full, so we recommend that you use one of the parking garages in the city center and travel to Bergen Aquarium by one of the suggestions above.
