A private tour provides a very special near-animals experience, whether you choose the outdoor area, tropical department or a guided tour of the Rotunda and the Labyrinth (aquarium area). Choose the topics you are interested in and the guide will adapt the style and message according to age and the number in the group.

Theme: Aquarium 

Guided tours of the Rotunda provide a deep dive into all the fantastic things that lie beneath the surface with a spotlight on the Norwegian marine fauna.

Other possible topics could be a tour focusing on the fish that live in the tank, plastic in the sea or how illegal release of fish affects our fauna.

Theme: Tropical department

With tropical guiding you meet the animals that live in a slightly warmer area and visit the crocodile cellar where the Filipino crocodiles live. During the presentation, you choose either Tropical or Crocodile.

Theme: Outdoor 

Guided tours of the outdoor area, you will meet the hoopoe penguins, the otters Gizmo and Bella and our California sea lions Amy, Kim and Keela.

Guided tours must be booked well in advance of the visit. We reserve the right to have spare capacity. Remember to state whether the tour will be conducted in Norwegian or English.
