Do you come by car?

When parking, you can use Nordnes parking garage (NordnesGarasjen) which is located steps away from the Aquarium's entrance. Payment is made through the ticket machine or through EasyPark. Ordinary rate NOK 25 per hour.
For electric cars, there is access to 9 charging points (Type2 Mode 3), and a 50% environmental discount is given on the ordinary tariff for number plates that start with EL, EV or EK.
NB! Only for passenger cars under 1.8m height.

Bergen is unfortunately not very suitable for cars. Nordnesgarasjen is Bergen Parkering's parking garage and has no connection to the Aquarium.

We can also recommend CityPark and Klostergarasjen, both of which are within walking distance of the Aquarium.

Do you come with a motorhome or vehicle over 1.8 meters?

With walking distance to and from the Aquarium, Bergen Municipality offers these parking options for your tall vehicle:

Tollbodallmenningen (2 hours parking for a fee) See map

Bergen municipality unfortunately does not have its own motorhome parking

Disabled people

For people with various disabilities, the Aquarium (in addition to NordnesGarasjen) has arranged parking spaces at the ticket booth/entrance. If required, notice must be given at the ticket office/souvenir on arrival.
NB: To be able to use these parking spaces, you must have a valid parking permit issued by the municipality. We make reservations that there are vacancies.
